International Women's Day with Microsoft

Elements in Bloom was honored to be invited to do the floral design for Microsoft's 2011 "International Women's Conference" held at the Woodmark Hotel! This is our second year collaborating with the Kristi, the event coordinator for this event and we look forward to it every year.

Here are a few snapshots that I took - but professional pictures will be featured as soon as I get them!

Kristi had a garden tea party style theme, so we created these luxurious floral centerpieces in hues of blush pink, pea green and accents of rustic brown.

We used our fantastic vintage silver urn rentals for the vases and created a sweet combination of Roses, Tulips, Amaranthus, Jasmine, Hydrangea, Lotus Pods and Mini Calla Lilies.

These adorable favors came from Godiva chocolate - YUM!

The perfect table linens, provided by Linens by Alice in an apple green complimented the arrangements and our votive candles nestled in split peas perfectly.

It's a beautiful day...

We are always thrilled to work at beautiful venues like The Woodmark Hotel, in Kirkland. This gorgeous outdoor wedding this past August 14th, 2010 of Sara & Brian was one of our favorites.

Sara and Brian were a pleasure to work with, as well as Sara's mom Susan. She's a tough cookie to please, but we managed to make it happen overwhelmingly!

What a gorgeous couple they are for a truly gorgeous waterfront summer day. It couldn't have been more perfect. Enjoy this pink an gun metal wedding... images by Cory Parris.

We designed a beautiful all white bouquet wtih David Austin Roses, Dendrobium Orchids and Spray Roses.

Bridesmaids bouquets in poppy pinks and fuschia to contrast against the gunmetal dresses.

An alternative to floral sprays at the Altar, we did these rich pink hued tent tie backs all around the tent. That way they were still enjoyed throughout the Ceremony and Reception without moving them in transition.

Trios of lush arrangements on each table in green, pinks and fuschia designed with Hydrangeas, Spray Roses, Roses and Orchids stand out on this gorgeous scroll champagne linen from BBJ Linens.

I'm always amazed at the incredible cake art from Starry Nights Catering!

A little candlelight goes a long way

Congrats to Sara & Brian, we wish you a happy and fulfilled life together!

Claudine with La Belle Soiree was the day-of-coordinator for this event. Some images were taken by Elements in Bloom.

Weddings in Woodinville 2011

It was a true pleasure and honor to again, for the second year in a row be privileged to be a vendor showcasing at Weddings in Woodinville 2011! We had the opportunity to showcase at the beautiful and rustic Willows Lodge, located in the heart of Woodinville Wine Country, as well as work with a fantastic list of vendors.
Enjoy the sneak peak of images provided by Laura Marchbanks Photography.

The inspiration for this years event was based on a color palette of chive and lavendar, with all the linens provided by Linens By Alice. We based our floral designs on natural elements, re-used "shabby chic" items, and timeless design. We wanted to showcase many different styles of table-scape so we embarked on doing a completely different design for each table.

This design had an eclectic "Indian" inspired theme. We scrounged some vintage brass candlesticks in different heights and style and then sprayed them copper we pared them with mint julep vases also sprayed copper and a low square vase filled with moss. The candlesticks were set atop the moss-filled vase for a dimension and height and the mint julep cups were placed around the centerpiece to finish the scape, with the addition of candles all around. The color palette stayed mostly rustic pink and lavender with flowers of Mums, Roses, Lissianthus, Brazillia Berry, Leucadendron, Lotus Pods and Succulents.

All the paper products were provided by: Jennifer Witsil Creative

This is one of two long table set-ups. We designed a set of wood boxes spanning the entire length of the table in rustic and naturally inspired designs. With Mums, Roses, Succulents, Geranium, Agonis foliage, Leucadendron, Air Plants and Votive Holders.

Air Plants were provided by: Air Plant Supply Co.
Unique Votive holders were provided by: Candeo Flower

Our other long table-scape was designed with a collection of vintage cut crystal vases in 3 different sizes. We filled each sweet vase with garden blooms such as; Tulips, Narcissus, Queen Anne's Lace, Lissianthus, Freesia and accents of Succulents. This table is best described as... Sweet!

This was one of my favorite tables this year. It really represents the NW Bride with an emphasis on natural elements, rustic design and the unique aspects that guests will be raving about for a long time after the "I-do's."  It's a design of Birch tubes filled with simple arrangements of Roses, Green Goddess Calla Lillies, Brazillia Berry, Succulents and Scabiosa. With the addition of large Air Plants in a silvery grey. Unique and stunning!

This was our classic and timeless table design featuring a tall centerpiece with submerged Orchids and a lush and full arrangement of Hydrangea, Roses, Spray Roses, Mini Calla Lilies, Orchids and Brazillia Berry.

This simple, yet eye-catching table design was simply designed with a tall vase, Manzanita branches blooming with Orchids, crystals draping and Candeo Flower Votive holders hung and lit.

We adorned the cocktail tables with small bouquets to inspire the Bride. Each one a bit different in color, style and design.

We created a memorable and unique Altar piece using Birch Trees decorated with balls of neutral toned roses, large Air Plants and Candeo Flower's votive holders. What a picturesque scape for the setting of your wedding.

Rustic arrangements were hung from the chairs in lavendar, white, greens and browns.

Two additional flowal pieces were set on either side of the trees at the Altar with submerged Air Plants, Stock, Agonis Foliage and Tulips. Simple, but stunning!

Hope you enjoyed your sneak peek of Weddings in Woodinville 2011! We will have more detailed images coming your way shortly so stay tuned.

Many thanks to all the vendors that participated, contributed and made the event such a success!
