Real Weddings: Jaime & Michael 9.25.09

Jaime & Micchael were married at the fabulous Sodo Park Venue by Herban Feast. Such a rustic atmosphere to tie the knot.

We created Mokara Orchid Streamers for the wire arch at the beginning of the aisle and the trellis at the altar. They added an elegant touch and a splash of color to compliment the rustic venue.

The aisle was lined with arrangments of Circus Roses, Leonidas Roses, Mums, Berries and Orchids attached to the chairs. There were also Hurricane Candles along the aisle for additional ambiance.

The girls carried bouquets of Circus Roses, Brown Cymbidium Orchids, Yellow Freesia, Brown Hypericum Berry and Ruscus Greenery. Stunning contrast to their Apple Red Bridesmaid Dresses.
The Bride carried a gorgeous, rich and bright bouquet of Fire Mini Calla Lilies, Red Roses, Yellow Freesia, Mokara Orchids and Ruscus Greenery. I was in love with this bouquet creating it in the studio. So was the bride, which is always a plus!

Thank you to Stacie Tatum Photography for the fantastic images!

Wedding in Woodinville photos are here!

Weddings in Woodinville was a fabulous event this year and we were so honored to be asked to be a part of it by the also fabulous Jennifer Taylor with Taylor'd Events by Jen!

We had the opportunity to feature our floral decor at Novelty Hill-Januik Winery in Woodinville. A contemporary venue with fantastic wines and the most fun little foodie bites you could imagine. They served up popcorn, tempura vegetables, wine sorbet, pizza and my favorites crab stuffed tomatoes. Delicious!

It's a wonderful place to have your wedding or event if you are looking for a clean, contemporary space with food and wine to delight the palette. We had a fun time coming up with a design concept for this venue. It being such a cool space we really wanted to warm it up with a pop of color. With Jen in the lead, she wanted to play off the lime greens, sunshine yellows and rich oranges of all the Glassy Baby candle holders the winery boasts.

We designed the floral to be just as fun with a splash of color. Check out all the incredible photos by Tania, with Azzura Photography! Can't say enough about her and her team, fantastic gal to work with as well as an extremely accomplished photographer. Thanks Tania!

A couple of views of the entire room. The linens were truly chic from Choice Linens and the ceiling drapery from Chic Celebrations really softened the room.

Each table had a different concept for menu and placecards from Uncommon Invites. Sensational!
We did two different table centerpiece concepts for floral decor. Our low style featured below was a table scape of 4 square glass vases. One with Yellow Disbud mums and one with Yellow Button Mums nestled in a vase filled with black rocks and gems. The other two square vases were two different heights and featured submerged Yellow Cymbidium Orchids suspended on silver wire.

We also created these cute Glassy Baby arrangements with a collection of Button Mums. Simple and Chic!

The other table concept was a tall style and it featured a garden style arrangement sitting atop a glass cylinder vase in pops of lime green and yellow among a garden variety of white. The arrangement featured White Hydrangeas, White Spider Mums, White Roses, Mini Green Hydrangeas, Yellow Button Mums and Yellow Cymbidium Orchids.

The unique aspect to these arrangments was the suspended Yellow Button Mum Pomander balls inside the vase. Suspended from Crystal strands. Super Chic and an interest your guest will be talking about long after the wedding, aside from the beautiful bride of course.

The Alter was created with two tall square glass vases with suspended Yellow Button Mum Pomander Balls inside. The arrangements were a garden collection of flowers with Pussy Willow for height and visual interest. A unique and interesting way to frame in the Bride and Groom at the Altar.

The drapery really softens the look. Chivari Chairs from Pedersen's Rentals.

I got several compliments on my vendor table at the show. We featured a simple piece with natural river rocks, Manzanita Branches blooming with Orchids and Crystals. This a great way to mark your guest book, use as a centerpiece option or on a bigger scale at your Altar. There's so many things you can do with branches to really make a statement at your event, plus it's green!

The bouquet was a rich collection of poppy colors. We used Mini Green Hydrangea, Blackberries, Scented Geranium Leaves, Fushchia Spray Roses, Hypnosis Purple Roses, Mini Garnet Carnations and Lime Green Mini Cymbidium Orchids. Stunning!

Thank you to all the contributing vendors. This was a fantastic show that couldn't have been done without you all.

Pretty in Pink...

We created this wonderful pink arrangement for a baby shower today. It was all about pink since it's a GIRL!

The arrangement was a combination of Oriental Stargazer Lilies that smell absolutely fantastic, baby pink Spray Roses, chartreuse green Mini Hydrangeas, soft pale pink Tulips and Mini Cymbidium Orchids, Brazillia berries and pink Gerber Daisies. We accented the arrangement with Lilly Grasses and Aspidestra wrapped vase

We created these cute and simple bud vases as favors for the guests at the baby shower. A modern white ceramic vase with a pink Gerber Daisy, Mini Cymbidium Orchid and Brazillia. Adorable!

Seattle Bride Magazine - Featured!

Look! One of my couples from Spring/Summer 2009 was featured in the newest issue of Seattle Bride Magazine.

Sandy & Alex 6.19.2009

Sandy and Alex were a fun couple who wanted a non-traditional wedding. We designed some fun stuff for the Ceremony and Reception: Pomander ball trios hanging from the chairs in bright sunny yellow at Bell Harbor International Conference Center and tree centerpieces with crystals and rocks for the Reception at Shilshole Bay Beach Club.

Her bouquet featured in the magazine was a simple collection of water blue Hydrangeas and Stars of Bethlehem.
