Real Weddings: Fernanda & Rusty 8.30.09

Fernanda & Rusty were married at Sodo Park by Herban Feast on 08.30.09. I love the vibrant color palette of Orange, Pinks and Lime Greens.

The Bride's bouquet was made up of Orange and Pink Dahlias, Orange Mokara Orchids and Rust colored Mini Calla Lilies.

An accent of Pink and Orange on the beautful Wooden Arch provided by the venue.

The aisle pieces were simple, but vibrant arrangements of Roses, Dahlias, Hypericum Berry and Bells of Ireland. They transfered to be centerpieces after the ceremony finished.

Love this space, such a fantastic venue for an event and the staff is wonderful to work with!

Real Weddings: 7.18.09 Lindsey & Patrick

Love, love, love the simplicity and fun these bouquets lent to Lindsey & Patrick's Wedding. A combination of Dahlias, Button Mums, Spider Mums and Galax Leaves.

The girls carried similar bouquets but in lime green.

Simple Hypericum Berry boutonniere

One of three centerpieces we created for the tables at the Palace Ballroom. Love the crisp lime green and white with limes creating a fun pattern inside the vases.

Blast from the past... I got an email out of the blue from a Bride: Joanne Birkner that I worked with in September 2006 for her small wedding at Daniel's Broiler. She was one of the clients that made me realize that floral design was a passion for me. I met with her and the ideas just poured out of me, which expressed my true passion for floral design.

Although my design has definitely improved since then, she was one of my first clients who was willing to make some bold color choices and style choices in her wedding flowers. We created a rich and bold collection of Calla Lilies and Dahlias with a collar of Safari Sunset.
